The Automotive Specialty Products Alliance (ASPA) provides a unified industry voice for its members engaged in the automotive chemical and vehicle appearance product markets before state, regional and federal legislators and regulators. ASPA draws upon the combined services offered to companies in the automotive chemical and vehicle appearance product markets through the Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association’s (MEMA) Automotive Chemical Manufacturers Council, the Auto Care Association Chemical Forum and the Consumer Specialty Products Association’s (CSPA) Automotive and Industrial Products Division. Membership in one or more of the three sponsoring associations is required for a company to participate in ASPA.

ASPA actively lobbies and communicates the interests of the industry to state and federal legislators and regulators to enhance members’ ability to manufacture and sell products to consumers.
Each year, ASPA hosts two meetings that bring together our membership and provides them with the opportunity to network and learn from top retailers, government officials, and pioneers in new industry technology. ASPA also hosts an annual luncheon at the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (APPEX), which allows our members to interact with key industry speakers and gain insight on timely issues of importance.
ASPA is an Alliance of the Auto Care Association, the Consumer Specialty Products Association (CSPA), and the Motor and Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA). These three associations came together to create ASPA as a way to unify individual efforts on behalf of their members in this market.
To join, download the membership_app.pdf , and fax it to the Membership Coordinator Kristin Power at CSPA’s office @ 202-223-2636.
