Hotel Information

The 2017 Consumer Specialty Products Association Mid-Year Meeting will be held at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center, a top-rated meeting destination near Washington, DC. A block of rooms has been set aside for meeting registrants at a special rate of $300.00 per night plus tax.  All reservations must be received on or before Saturday April 17, 2017.

Transportation

Air transportation arrangements should be made with the carrier of your choice at least 30 days in advance in order to receive the lowest possible fares.  DC is a very busy market and spring is peak travel season.  There are three airports in the area. The Gaylord National Resort does not provide shuttle service so travelers must make their own arrangements for transportation to the hotel.

Ronald Regan Washington National Airport – DCA

  • 8 miles from the hotel
  • Transportation can be arranged with SuperShuttle. The fare is $18.00 one way and a reservation is required.  Estimated taxi fare is $25.00 one way.

Baltimore / Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport – BWI

  • 42 miles from the hotel
  • Transportation can be arranged with SuperShuttle. The fare is $45.00 one way and a reservation is required.  Estimated taxi fare is $70.00 one way.

Washington Dulles International Airport – IAD

  • 35 miles from the hotel
  • Transportation can be arranged with SuperShuttle. The fare is $44.00 one way and a reservation is required.  Estimated taxi fare is $70.00 one way.

Keynote Speaker – Chris Stirewalt, Fox News

Chris Stirewalt is the politics editor for the Fox News Channel. Working in FNC’s Washington Bureau since 2010, Stirewalt helps coordinate political coverage across the network. His daily newsletter, Fox News First, boasts nearly 200,000 subscribers. He is also part of the Fox News Decision Desk team on election nights calling races over the past three electoral cycles.

Stirewalt makes daily appearances on the network including The Kelly File, America’s Newsroom, Special Report with Bret Baier and Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace and hosts Power Play on FoxNews.com.

Stirewalt also hosts a podcast with Dana Perino Perino & Stirewalt: I’ll Tell You What which spun off into a television show by the same name during the lead up to the 2016 election.

Prior to joining FNC, Stirewalt served as political editor for The Washington Examiner where he wrote a twice-weekly column and led political coverage for the newspaper. He also served as politics editor at the Charleston Daily Mail and West Virginia Media. Stirewalt began his career at the Wheeling Intelligencer in West Virginia.

He is a graduate of Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia.
