Innovention 2006

Innovention 2006, CSPA’s forum for efficient and economical business meetings, will be devoted to promoting information exchange about new products, ingredients and services.  It is set up to stimulate idea exchange and provide a learning opportunity for industry professionals.  This special activity will kick off with a luncheon at 12:00 noon, followed by keynote speaker Robert Hormats, vice chairman of Goldman Sachs International and managing director of Goldman Sachs and Company. 

Mr. Hormats has served in senior advisory capacities for numerous cabinet officers, and at senior staff level in national and international trade and economic affairs posts.  He joined Goldman Sachs in 1982.  His luncheon presentation will focus on “Innovation in the Marketplace.”  After the keynote address, Innovention Center will be open to all from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the ballroom salon next door. 

Innovention Center will feature:
An array of tabletop displays featuring the newest and most innovative products and services from members and nonmember companies.  Click here for floor plan and tabletop registration information.

A poster session with all seven divisions invited to participate, highlighting their companies’ latest scientific, technical and marketing discoveries and
techniques.  Posters have been moved inside the center this year for greater visibility.  Email awheeler@cspa.org for call for posters and more information.

Private meeting areas within the Center for business-to-business appointments. Schedule your use of the space in advance or on-site at the CSPA registration desk.

A central lounge area for networking with peers and colleagues, catching up on current news via plasma-screen television and daily newspapers, stopping for a  coffee or a smoothie, connecting to the Internet via complimentary computer  access, or taking advantage of relaxation therapy neck and shoulder massages by Bodyworks, Inc.

Innovention Day will close with a reception from 4:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday in Innovention Center and the Center will be open from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, featuring all its services plus complimentary lunch both days.  Registration for Innovation Day ONLY is $125.00.
