Mark your calendars now and save the dates for CSPA’s 95th Annual Meeting December 7-11, 2008 at the Marriott Harbor Beach Resort and Spa in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The meeting is a prime opportunity for you to become involved in the workings of your Association, an occasion to increase your company’s bottom line by meeting customers and potential customers all under one roof, and an educational event to further your own professional development as well as bring you up-to-date information on the latest regulatory and legislative issues pertinent to the consumer specialties industry.

The meeting’s theme “Learning from the Past and Preparing for the Future,” will build on the Mid-Year Meeting’s theme of “Perceiving and Acting Beyond the Headlines,” by reflecting on what CSPA has learned from the past to shape its vision for tomorrow.

A general session breakfast will kick off the event, with elections of the 2009 Board of Directors, presentations of the prestigious Allderdice and Chairman’s awards and featuring keynote speaker Jon Meacham, author/historian and editor of Newsweek Magazine.  CSPA Divisions will present programs ranging from their own particular interests to those crossing Division lines, and at least one special session – on green products – is planned.  Marketing events at the Resort’s cabanas will take place during free lunch hours and at the popular Suppliers Night Reception, mixing business with networking in a casual social atmosphere.  An innovative international wine pairing with music and dancing will wrap up a busy and productive four days.

Annual Meeting registration will be $875.00 for CSPA members by November 14 and $925.00 thereafter, and $250.00 for spouses and guests.  These registrations will cover all posted activities and events, with registered spouses receiving in addition a gift certificate to the famed Harbor Beach Spa.
