WASHINGTON, DC (February 18, 2009) – The Consumer Specialties Insurance Company (Risk Retention Group) is expanding coverage for its liability policy with the availability of a new Broadening Endorsement.
CSI policyholders now have the advantage of adding a Broadening Endorsement to their policy. This endorsement incorporates five important coverage enhancements:
- Vendors as additional insureds written on a blanket basis
- Blanket waiver of subrogation
- Products withdrawal expense with a limit of $100,000
- Employee benefits liability coverage with limits of $1,000,000 each employee; $1,000,000 aggregate
- Limited pollution liability for a short term event subject to a limit of $100,000
“This special endorsement was developed to make it easier for policyholders to obtain these essential insurance coverages and to enhance the coverage afforded by the CSI liability policy,” said Chris Cathcart, president of both CSI and the Consumer Specialty Products Association. “We are already receiving positive feedback from the insurance agent community about the new endorsement and the value it adds to the CSI policy.”
