CSPA Names New Officers and Directors for 2007

WASHINGTON, DC (December 18, 2006) – Members of the Consumer Specialty Products Association (CSPA) elected new Officers and Directors for the year 2007 at its recent annual meeting in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

CSPA President Chris Cathcart noted that the new Board includes expertise from a good cross section of the consumer and institutional products industry. β€œThe Board includes senior executives from companies in each of our seven Divisions as well as large companies and small companies, suppliers and marketers. That type of diversity strengthens CSPA ability to represent the industry.”

The following individuals comprise the new Board of CSPA:

Chairman of the Board – William Mordan, vice president and general counsel, Reckitt Benckiser, Inc.; First Vice-Chairman of the Board, C. Conrad K empinska, Jr., vice president, Health, Hygiene & Personal Care, Lonza Inc.; Second Vice-Chairman of the Board, Kelly Semrau, vice president, Global Public Affairs & Communications, S.C. Johnson & Son; Treasurer, Joseph M. Healy, chairman of the board, Outsourcing Services Group, Inc.

New directors include Michael Freeman, president of the Americas , WD-40 Company, and outgoing Aerosol Products Division chairman, who was elected Member-at-Large to serve a term expiring December 2007.

Members elected to serve a term expiring December 2008 are: David Beaham, president, Faultless Starch/Bon Ami Company; Thomas M. Hellman, PhD, executive vice president, Compliance Services, Limited Brands/Bath & Body Works; and William Troy, PhD, vice president, Product Safety & Regulatory Affairs, Firmenich, Inc.

Members elected to serve a term expiring December 2009 are: Mike Feldser, president, Aerosol and Specialty Packaging Division, Ball Corporation; Joseph Franckowiak, vice president, sales and marketing, Household Chemical Packaging, Berry Plastics Corporation; Frank Pacholec, PhD, vice president, R&D, Stepan Company; William J. Schalitz, vice president, R&D, Spartan Chemical Company; Richard Theiler, PhD, senior vice president, R&D, The Dial Corporation; James A. Westerhaus, vice president, Government Relations, Ecolab Inc.; Tammy Westerman, vice president, R&D, State Industrial Products Corp.; and Amy Yoder, vice president and general manager, BioLab, Inc.

New Division chairmen, who also serve on the CSPA Board, are: Robert Harrington, director, Regulatory, Safety and Analytical Services, Blyth , Inc. (Air Care Division); James Coletta, Jr., chief operating officer, Americas, Interpolymer Corporation (Polishes and Floor Maintenance Division); and Ron Davis, vice president, Regulatory and Environmental, CCL Dispensing (Aerosol Products Division).
