CSPA Names New Vice President Communications
Washington, DC – January 8, 2008 – The Consumer Specialty Products Association (CSPA) is pleased to announce that Gretchen Schaefer has joined the Association's staff as vice president of communications.
Schaefer has represented the business community on legislative, regulatory and educational initiatives for more than 15 years, including positions with the American Tort Reform Association and American Insurance Association. She was formerly a communications director for the College of American Pathologists in Washington where she managed critical advocacy communications and developed a proactive external communications program. Schaefer has a Communications degree from Marquette University .
“Gretchen has a strong background in brand-building through aggressive media relations and other external communications programs that will enable CSPA to more effectively represent the interests of its members.
