Assembly Bill 708, Must Balance Ingredient Disclosure With Information Protection

by admin on March 5, 2015 No comments

An ingredient communication bill, Assembly Bill 708, was introduced in California on February 25 that would require air care, automotive, cleaning  and polish and floor maintenance products to disclose ingredients by weight and “purpose” on the label and website.

Ingredients must be identified by CAS number, and CSPA dictionary name and INCI name.  CSPA will engage with the bill author, sponsor and other stakeholders as the measure moves through the legislative process.

Read analysis by Kristin Power’ CSPA Vice President, State Affairs.
