The California Pesticide Regulatory Course for Consumer Products is an opportunity for those involved in the manufacture of products that protect public health and the environment to interact with Cal/EPA and California Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) staff; gain key insights pertaining to new or developing trends; and learn more about the compliance and registration issues affecting the consumer products industry.
The meeting, which is open to CSPA members and non-members, will be used as an opportunity for professionals in the cleaning products industry to learn about the latest technologies anddiscuss the challenges of emerging issues.
The first course focuses on the practical: what you need to know to get your pesticide products on the market, keep them on the market and avoid penalties. We’ll then move to advanced topics of current interest: electronic submissions; pollinators and the Endangered Species Act; state regulation of pesticides including California and PRIA 4. Additionally, the course will continue three new modules that were introduced last year on “Labeling Impacts of Toxicity Study Results,” “How to Register a Biopesticide,” and “Marketing Claims for Consumer Pesticides.”
