Schools across the United States are competing in the 2014 Recycle Bowl. The competition, presented by Keep American Beautiful, kicked off Oct. 20 and concludes Nov. 15, the last day a school or district can collect acceptable recyclable material.
Schools then report the type(s) and amount(s) of recyclable materials collected for a chance to win various prizes in several categories.
Of course, one type of material that is recyclable is empty aerosol products, and CAPCO is a toolkit partner of the Recycle Bowl, working to ensure that aerosol products are included in the collected materials and to help spread the word about the recyclability of empty aerosol products.
